Brand new 'affordable' YT Capra Core 1 MTB - First Ride

I take the brand new YT Capra Core 1 MX to Rogate Downhill to ride it for the first time, and see whether it's any good! At £2699 it's one of the more budget friendly options on the market right now so i'm really interested to see how it gets down. As a beginner I feel like that 2000 bucks bike will always be chilling. So good to see that it is still the technique over material. I am 50 wanting an Enduro to have some fun with my son. No intent to go lightspeed. So this bike seems best choice. Thanks!

Managed to snag my core 1 mx in black magic for 1999. Gone from just a trail bike (cannondale habit 120 rear 140 fork) to a dh bike(yt tues) to the Capra. Live the enduro but miss the care free charging you can do with a dh bike. Next bike I’ll be going back to a tues(preferably the 27.5 freeride model)

You should look into getting those suction cup bike rack holders if you don't have a bike mount on the roof. It seems like a faff to take both wheels on and off.
