This song literally changed my life.
My best friend passed away when i was 17 and this was played at his funeral. Every time i hear this song it inspires me to do better.
This will always be my favourite song. Big love.

Who’s here after the Pop Out in LA? Concert was an absolute masterpiece. Jay Rock was one of the biggest surprises.

This song holds a lot of memories for me. When this song came out I was an 18 yr homeless girl, and I would take the bus down to Inglewood/LAX to go work my shift at the strip club. I remember always listening to this song on the bus and thinking how much I wish I had a real money tree so I can afford a safe home and stop stripping. This was one of hardest times of my life. Thankfully I got a full ride to UCLA a few years later, stopped stripping, and the rest is history….but I never stopped listening to this song. The emotions it brings up in me is the same as it was when I first started listening to this song 9 years ago.

When you think 2020 has been bad, think you're still alive in May and listening to some great music...

I was depressed for about a year and a half and I don’t remember much. The one thing that I do remember is listening to Section .80, GKMC, and TPAB on repeat. Kendrick literally kept me sane for that year and a half.

Kendrick is a fucking genius. It was really inevitable that he'd blow up like he has. His music simultaneously manages to convey profound messages, provoke emotion and deep thought, pump you up, and sound extremely appealing. This is just... excellent.

I know where Rock is coming from at 4:34. I used to live in LA as a kid with 6 other family members in a house on the second floor. It was pretty small, and every thanksgiving day we wouldn't celebrate it. We didn't have the money to afford a turkey or the proper equipments to even make one along with some other food. I went almost 13 years without trying my first turkey or celebrating thanksgiving. Now we are much wealthier, and hearing songs like this reminds me of the older days when we didn't have much, but family and a roof over our heads.

This seriously might be my all time favorite beat. If you can sample a beach house track and manage to make it better or equally as good as the original, you’ve seriously done something magical

This song gets me through the toughest times and fears. Before boarding a flight I listen to this on repeat as many times as possible. Thank you kendrick for therapeutic music
