Creality Ender 3 Pro BTT SKR E3 V2 Upgrade

Hey y'all!

I finally bit the bullet and made an upgrade on one of our Ender 3 Pro printers. This was after much research and really a need to get more out of these printers.

I only did one for now but the other will be done soon after seeing the difference! I decided to put the upgrade on the older one so I could see if it was up to the hype and to see how much trouble it would be.

The upgrade consisted of a Big Tree Tech SKR E3 V2.0 control board. With this board I got the BLTouch, which allows you do auto bed leveling, as well as, a Big Tree Tech Smart Filament Sensor.

The BLTouch has not been installed as it requires more printed parts and more design time coming from stock. The filament sensor was a key item in this upgrade decision. The Smart Sensor requires an upgraded board to be able to connect.

The install went well and the programming was not too bad, thanks to TeachingTech for all of his great videos.
