Ariens Platinum 24 SHO EFI (how and where to plug in the battery charger)

Plugging in the battery charger is simple and easy. This video shows where the plug-in is and the battery charger itself. I also started the unit with the electric start instead of using the pull cord. 2021 UPDATE: As of November 9th 2021 the battery has given me 0 problems even though I have not always, well rarely, followed the battery charging instructions. I have had no issues or complains. I service the machine early fall, drain any remaining 91 octane gas when I put it in storage for the off season, fill it with fresh winter gas a day or two before any significant snow fall and GO. Very pleased with this unit.

You didn't mention the location of the plug to unplug to charge, it's up under the control panel on the handlebars, left side.

Question.... does the efi battery continue to charge while running, or do I wall charge it often?? Thanks for the info.

I can not get the Ariens Deluxe series Model o021049 to be started. I wonder how log the battery should be charged.

Oops. The operator’s manual emphasizes (when starting) to first connect the extension cord to the machine, and then to the outlet. Then, first unplug from the wall outlet, and then from the machine.

Jist realized i was plugging battery into hand warmer feed😂. Its just to the left of middle underneath not all the way left. Red/black connection NOT the brown/yellow.

so if the efi battery is dead you cannot use the machine until it has charge correct?

What happens if it’s not charged? Mine won’t start. Turns over fine.

cannot find a video anywhere that shows how to replace the battery. Mine is only 2 years old and the battery wont charge. Really poor qualtiy control on this product. I paid 2000 for this snowblower.

How long does it take to charge your battery.... and mine turned from green to red the charger light ... does that mean the battery is full charged?
