An advocate in english doesn't mean what you think it means. As a job title an advocate would be extremely rare along the lines of a political lobbyist. But if you went to someone who in Russian you would describe as an advocate (lawyer?) and asked them what their job was they would not say " I'm an advocate".

Same with the job title director. I believe in Russian director is used just like the word boss but in english a director would be very high level top management overseeing the appointment of CEO's and such and not used as a word for a normal boss.

It's been two months already. Russian is the most difficult language in the universe.Conjucations, cases and verb pairs are killing me.I have learned about 5000 word include 100+ verbs and 300+ adjectives, But i still can't understand a webpage or tv shows.one more month I will give it up, move to french and spanish.
