Just part one today though cause the views sustain me haha. ;) But yeah, imagine this being your long awaited finale. Oops.

What’s most annoying is, Adrien’s birth is the catalyst for this entire show; his birth is what made Emillie sick and go into a coma/die which led to Gabe becoming Hawk Moth— and yet Adrien/ Chat Noir does nothing! He does more in the bloody show intro than he does in this finale

Gabe seemly gets a redemption, who has spent seasons psychologically torturing his son, while Chloe can’t I’m not even mad this is just hilarious at this point. 😅

The fact that Marinette sympathises with Gabe after he abused his son emotionally and manipulated him, took advantage of everyone around him, threatened to delete his nephew from existence, caused Marinette herself so much stress after stealing the miraculouses and akumatised her classmates on countless occasions and many more things, yet she shuts off Chloe and calls her irredeemable is hilarious

Finale was really mixed for me. Really upset how Adrien got sidelined AS USUAL

they made chatnoir unimportant, again. Gabriel being remembered as a hero? Adrien wanting to be like his dad? (the one that imprision him and brainwash him) yikes HORRIBLE.

One thing I couldn’t stop thinking about after watching the finale is that the kwamis explained in Ephemeral that the wish destroys the universe and creates a new one in its place. And then in the finale, Gabe actually is able to make the wish. So our original Marinette, Adrien, etc. were all vaporized and replaced with copies. Gabe won. The show’s over.

What was weird was the fact that Felix and Kagami, confirmed to Marinette that Gabriel was Hawkmoth. And the fact that she was shocked by that made me realized when she transformed to Ladybug, "Oh is she gonna go and confront Gabriel in the Finale?" But no, in the next episode we see her in bed fast asleep enduring a nightmare. And what made me REALLY mad was the fact that she only went to the Agrestes house to see Nathalie about Adrien, COMPLETELY ignoring the fact that Gabriel could be Monarch. And the look on her face when she saw Monarch de-transforming made me pause the video and say "Ok we can confirm that this girl was daydreaming during the play."

i will never understand why they made gabe the villain in the first place if theyre not ever gonna use the fact that HIS OWN SON is chat noir to their advantage... couldve just used a random person then 💀 ngl that dynamic was one of the main reasons i continued to watch the show this is so disappointing

The Owl House season 3 got cut, and managed to create a better finale than a show which has 5 seasons…

I hate how the writers ALWAYS forget what kinda plot they did in other episodes. Like why the hell did Ladybug Not attack Gabriel directly After the episode befor the Final???

Sidelining Adrien and ignoring the Sentimonster plot are inexcusable issues. But despite those, the action rocks!

Gotta love how Nathalie is hobbling about, wasting away, practically on her death bed and Gabe still thought he needed to transform and use the strength boost to knock something out of her hand.

Surprised you didn't mention how Marinette types out a whole text to tell Chat Noir where she is, who Monarch is and what's going on and then just... Doesn't send it. Nothing interrupts her, nothing is rushing her, she just suddenly decided to stop. Because the script told her she can't cause the reveal even indirectly I guess.

One thing I will give them props for is the action was so well choreographed. The angles and the attack methods all seemed so much more interesting than the usual hit and restrain.
