What about ignoring, not answering for hours and then start a conversation like everything is normal? Does that fall under "forgetfullness"?

One time I had made the grocery list, and he thought it was going to be to much so when we got to the grocery store he pulled out a calculator and if I needed something, it went on the Calculator and then he started saying you’re not getting that you’re not getting that and then we went to straight everything he needed. Our son had asked for something and he said no he can buy on his own punishment with something that was an every day occurrence, and it destroyed me for 23 years

All my sister in laws are like this. Ive learned to grey rock them. I am way more peaceful now than trying to develop a real relationship with either of them.

Passive ineffectiveness.. along with Passive aggressiveness. Then if you keep your cool, & continue the insistence of problem resolution... they actually respond to your instance as an intolerable attack... until you are crazy made to burst your boiler.

I recently had my first argument with a narcissist but didn’t know she was one at the time. During this disagreement I legit thought I was going crazy. She denied everything, blamed me for everything, victimized herself and the theatrics she put on were award winning🫠 It wasn’t until afterwards and a lot of videos like this one that I realized what I was dealing with. They are a different breed😵‍💫

Yes, if you argue with a narcissist you will lose because narcissists never admit they are wrong and they never admit you are equal to them. I know first hand that defending yourself in a narcissistic relationship doesn't work. You will never be able to defend yourself because the narcissist believes you are inferior to their supremacy. He will ridicule, laugh, hit, and argue all day until you are broken, that is what gives the narcissist his feelings of power and dominance.

I hung up on her when started yelling. I tried to calm her down and she kept going. I sent her screenshots of ger text to prove she is gaslighting me. She texted me a week ago apologizing. God checked her.
