I love this renaissance festival. I met my husband there and married him there in one of the chapels. This place will always have a special place in my heart.

I’ve gone 3 times but my favorite experience was the first. I went with my middle school orchestra and got to play on the stage. So many good memories. I bought a tiara on my first visit and have made it a tradition to buy one every time I go.

That's my wife and I with the viking Shields, built em myself. Super cool to be in this video. It's truly lots of fun, we decided to make it our "thing" instead of comicon. This video is great and shows how much there is to do, well done 😊

The theatre of Fools is always amazing! They pulled me on stage once and it was hilarious. The man and wife who run the show are amazing performers and great people.

I didn't know this place existed. Thanks for taking us along. Me & my kids (both in college) still enjoy going to the Bristol Renaissance Faire on the Illinois Wisconsin border during the summer

Pro Tip: go Halloween weekend and camp Fri-Sun.
If you like to party and revel in debauchery after hours…it is Legendary!
Prepare to stay up really late and come up with a strategy to find your camp spot when walking is a slight challenge. I go 2 or 3 times a year and it is my absolute favorite thing!!

I've been dragging my 3 sons to Ren Faires their whole entire lives. My oldest makes his own weapons. My youngest is a full armour knight fighter, weapons and all. My middle is a business man that watches and tries to be a grown up about it.😉 I love it so much.

I have been going to this festival every year for about 14-16 years ( I don't remember what year I start). I love this faire and camp as well. Such a friendly and welcoming vibe.

This great faire is open from early October until the weekend after Thanksgiving. It is an amazing place. Food, fights, falcons, and fun! I go two or three times each fall. People watching is fantastic! I find costume pieces and treasures a plenty! I love it!

I looked forward to fall every year because of the Renaissance Fair. The first time my family and I went, we rented costumes that was at the front gate after we realized we could wear costumes at the fair. After that, it became my family's tradtion to go every year and it was a must to go in costume. I loved going every year and seeing all the costumes and stores. It was also customary for me and my family to find an item or piece of clothing to add on to our costumes. The food is great, especially the turkey legs! 🤤 The entertainment was everywhere! You can even have your birthday and a wedding there where you get escorted by the king's guard! And around noon, you get to see the parade of the stores, groups, and others you see around the fair! Each weekend that it's open has a theme from fairies to pirates to barbarians to knights. It even runs trough Halloween so the stores and staff walking around have candy to give out to trick or treaters. And the last weekend it's open is christmas themed to welcome the holiday.
As the years went by it grew in popularity which unfortunately meant more drunkards, so if you plan to take children with you, beware! Because you will see and hear things that are adult themed.

Heart's Delight started as a vendor at the original Renaissance Pleasure Faire in Southern California and have expanded to multiple festivals around the country. They are an historic Ren Faire vendor, and I'm pleased you found them and love them so much! Huzzah! Thanks for the lovely video. I still need to visit this faire in TX. Cheers.

I've been going here since I was a wee lad and I'm so glad you showcased it and enjoyed yourself. I even worked here one year and got to be a Tomato Guy! It was fun. If you and anyone else wants a bit of advice on what is the best weekend to go if you aren't drawn to any one weekend in particular, the last weekend, Celtic Christmas, is by far the best. Not only do they put out a bunch of great Christmas decorations, but the weekend is 3 days instead of 2, you have the best chance of it being cool (or even cold), and lots of stores have stuff on sale. Hope you come back for another go!

Great video! It got so cold that weekend! It's impossible to do everything there but the Pirate areas and the greek agora are fun spots. The Pride of Bedlam is the other best band there. There's also a lot of activities and revelry after the fair in the campgrounds!

I agree Barbarian weekend is usually a bit chilly and that is the one when some people wear the least amount of garb. This last year especially. But as always was a fun season. And I hope you had a great time while you were there.
