First in a two-part documentary which follows Trevor McDonald as he ventures inside two jails that hold some of America's most notorious women criminals, Indiana Women's Prison and the state's Rockville Correctional Facility. In the first episode, Trevor meets Sarah Pender. Charismatic and educated, she was once labelled America's most wanted woman and has now spent more time in solitary confinement than any other female offender in Indiana. Desiree Hancock robbed a bank at gun point. She talks freely about relationships inside and how she has become a lesbian since her incarceration. Paula McIntosh has just arrived at Rockville and breaks down as she talks about her four children. Martha Search is soon to be released after serving 20 years for murder. She is excited about using a mobile phone, sending her first email and finally sleeping in a bed of her own.

I spent 6 1/2 years between Rockville and IWP. Prison saved my life!! I was a drug-addicted prostitute and as of October of this year, I will have 11 years clean! I am studying for my MCATs and working hard to fulfill my dream of becoming a neurosurgeon. Redemption is possible!!

She didn’t prey on him. I’m a correctional officer and he is an adult just like her. He wasn’t vulnerable he was horny. He chose to do what he did and was dumb as hell.

My mom spent 4 years in prison. I watched the cops take her away and it messed with me for years. I was 12 when she went in and was turning 17 when she got out. Then I lost her at 21 to cancer. I hope these women get a real grip on life because their children are the ones who suffer. I'm about to be 35 and I miss my mom every day.

This interviewer is absolutely wonderful, it’s hard to find a prison documentary when the interviewer doesn’t disrespect the inmates. Inmates are humans too.

I’m sorry but that woman C.O just pissed me off! “She preyed on a a vulnerable officer”! No he preyed on a desperate and vulnerable prisoner. He knew wtf he was doing!

I'm just disgusted that the officer lady got on camera claiming the male officer was taken advantage of. Like he wasn't free to go and flood the prison with drugs.

I really enjoy that this man was just so humble and treated these inmates with respect regardless of how serious their offenses were. We need more people like him.

if that officer was “so vulnerable” to be manipulated by that female inmate … he CLEARLY needs psychological help and is EXTREMELY unfit, unsafe, etc. to be a police officer… thanks for giving us more REASONS to prove that anyone can be hired on as a police officer.

I just "love" how both the male and female officers are calling the officer who helped the inmate escape a victim and claiming that he was manipulated lol. How about he could've said no, he could've reported her immediately, he had so many options. He was not manipulated, word for the day: ACCOUNTABILITY

Trevor McDonald is such a genuine reporter. He goes in unbiasedly and with a heart. He is phenomenal man.

And how did the inmate KNOW about his problems at home???? I was taught to leave my personal life outside of the gates. And any problems inside-leave inside. The officer got off too damn easy!!! 🤬

Its funny how the officer said that sarah pender had preyed on him because of his problems at home. So even though he was already bringing in contraband to sell to inmates, its all her fault n she tricked him into helping her escape. Lol. Yah all her fault, gaurd was tricked into doing what he did. Laughable, im sorry.

Listening to Addy speak, you can tell she’s naturally a smart well spoken person. Definitely not your typical criminal, and you wouldn’t think she’s a robber and be fighting 😂.

everybody talking about how nice addy is.. she made me genuinely uncomfortable the way she laughed and talked about robbing people and punching them

Oh sure the officer is the victim...MY ASS! He was as much an OPPORTUNIST as she was. He was MORE ACCOUNTABLE than she however, because she was already incarcerated and had limited interactions. HE could leave at the end of his day. HE could've practiced integrity. She was already in a box labeled criminal...HE created himself into one.

I’m pissed that the guard saying the guard was the victim. Here’s go no victim he’s just as guilty as she is. He’s actually more at fault because he knows better. He’s trained to report an inmate trying to get away with any crime he wanted money and a piece of ass so that guard needs to stop blaming her and put it on him because of his actions and his sexual behavior with her.

I really truly love the interviewer. He is compassionate, has a calming voice and asks interesting questions. I’ve seen many other interviews by him and they’re all equally amazing!
