What if Majima killed Dojima and Lao Gui? Here are the things that would happen.

-Kiryu would not be the Dragon of Dojima if the family falls due to Majima's actions. He would probably move to Kazama's family or stay a civilian for good.

-Shimano would be dead if he goes after Majima and Makoto, and having both him and Dojima dead would severely weaken the Tojo Clan

-Sera would not be the third chairman of the clan

-As a result of Sera not being chairman, Kazama would not be able to hand Kiryu the promotion to fourth chairman, and as such Kiryu would not be able to hand over the reigns to Yukio Terada, thus avoiding the events of Yakuza 2.

-Haruka would not exist, as Jingu would never have met Yumi who was working behind the scenes

-Nishiki would still be a good guy with Dojima dead, thus avoiding the events of Yakuza 1

-There would be no Mad Dog of Shimano

-Saejima would never find Majima again

-Akiyama would still be working for his company as the embezzlement that Jingu commited would have never happened

-and finally, Makoto and Majima will be together.

It is important to remember that while Kiryu is the main guy of the series, it was Majima's choices that shaped the series to what it is today.

The added guitar riffs and more prominent piano at the end really makes you feel just how angry Majima was at the time. The album version feels more like Majima reminiscing about the rampage.
