What makes Carolina Drafting a new QB will automatically make the team better it’s the ownership and coaching that are the problem and I mostly agree with the others as well

Clearly you have not watched the Jags at all this season if you Think Trevor Lawrence deserves to lose his job. #TroglodyteProSports

Personally I think Trevor Lawrence can still turn things around. I’m saying it won’t be easy but Jaguars quarterbacks have pulled in revitalizations and clutch performances before. Case in point: 2022 Wild Card Round, 2007 Wild Card Round, 1999 Divisional Round and 2017 Divisional Round.

Basically, don’t give up on Trevor Lawrence yet.

TPS crazy takes on half these guys. Lawrence, Kirk, and more than likely Dak will all be starting next season. Young if he plays well down the stretch probably will be as well.
Darnold, Geno, Carr, Minshew, Jones are all obviously out

Levis and Richardson are just cases of bad teams with bad rosters starting a developmental QB too soon and then they get mad when theyre not stellar right away.

Watson will only be starting if the Browns don't get a new guy and are stupid, or they keep him starter for a few weeks to let the rookie develop if they're smart

Richardson got 1 more year if he doesn’t show improvement it’ll be more than him losing their job

Just need to have Kirk Cousins start against the Buccaneers Defense and he'd be better than even Patrick Mahomes.

Crazy to see the guys drafted that high, not even making 2 full seasons in the league before getting moved. Yet Danny Dimes makes it 6 years. TV show type shit

We just won 2 straight games for the first time since 2022 with Bryce Young

I always have issues with lists like this. Mainly because I believe all too often, they are given out of context. For any QB taken in the 2023 draft, it makes no sense to move on so quickly from them. Remember, most of these guys are with teams that are bottom dwellers from the very start. Most have long histories of crappy ownership, crappy leadership and often directionless talent acquisitions. Yet it is always the sophomore qb's who bear the brunt of the ridicule and scorn for the losing teams they are a part of. As the old saying goes: "When teams win, the QB's get too much credit. When they lose, they take too much blame." Let's give the guys time to get their feet under them and hopefully for the FO to make the necessary moves to give them help. Instead of getting mad that these guys haven't been able to turn sewage water into wine.

As for the veterans, I can't say you're wrong. I'm not exactly sure what Desean's issue is (and oh yeah...can we finally all start mentioning that his charges have either been settled or dropped?). At any rate, Perhaps the Browns can finagle a way to just pay the man to stay home and open the roster spot (a la the Lakers and Loul Deng). And if they do, please slow down the reckless train they always fuel by drafting the latest "can't miss" college QB who is DESTINED to save the franchise? It's not fair to them and will only amount to adding yet another body to the funeral pyre that has been Cleveland since they came back.

Finally, I like the Kirk Cousins/Michael Penix move. One of the things I have always yelled about the fiercest is that unlike times past, many 1st rd QB's are thrown to the wolves and never allowed to grow into the major differences between college and the NFL. Worse still, they are never able to learn at the feet of a veteran who can show them the nuances of the game so that when they DO take over, they are able to do so running full tilt. The coaching staff has had time to get rid of bad habits, instill good ones, and find out where their strengths and weaknesses are within their respective systems. instead of trying to mold them on the fly which never works. The prime example of how this works so well is Green Bay. From Favre, to Rodgers, and now Love, these men weren't just thrown to the wolves and expected to walk on water. They were sat behind a veteran QB (whether they like it or not) and were groomed to take over the starting spot...WHEN IT WAS TIME. Over that time, Green Bay has used that unrushed style to keep the team afloat even in down seasons. But once the pieces come together, they stay a difficult team to beat (barring injuries to key pieces of course). So while yes, many times young QB's make you want to pull your hair out and hit the reset button, I think often it's simply a knee jerk reaction to the all consuming ferver to "win now!" But just remember, guys like Marino, Luck and Brady are the outliers to the rule. When names like Montana, Mahomes and Foles are the norm. Just saying.

Cousins, Dak and Lawrence are definitely back next year. If Darnold is solid all the way through to a decent playoff run, then i wouldn't be surprised if JJ starts the year on the bench, unless he totally outplays his in practice and preseason.
