The most appalling Sims 4 patch

I really like how the likes can give you fun. Now we can gain fun from activities like writing, cooking, etc. We couldn't do that before.

I think the dislike for cooking makes the butler a bit more relevant

If they went darker, then none of the hair would have texture. Then everybody would complain about ugly hair. Jet black doesnt work in any game really, its like a rule to never use pure black.

I have naturally jet black hair and while I do wish they would go super dark, I really do like how neutral the new black is! I honestly never realized how blue the original black was lol

I think the darker the hair goes, maybe the more difficult it is to pick up asset details? I actually never minded the "blue" black but in comparison, the "true" black seems ashy.

I think I've never really minded how blue the original black hair was, just because the whole art style is so cartoony it always made sense to me. But it is always better to have more variety to go with more skin tones!

I have black hair irl and i don't really mind that it doesn't look like totally black because when the light shines it will still have some kind of lighter sheen so it makes sense to me

I've only had a little time with the new patch but so far I like it. Sims can now gain fun from painting, baking, writing, . .. If they like that activity. I just hope they patch in the skills that are missing, like knitting, herbalism, .... I also love the new hair colours and improved bunk beds.
The patch may not be perfect but for me personally it is definitely more of an improvement than a disappointment.

being colorblind and a simmer truly has its perks, my wood tones almost never match and the blue black hair never bothered me, because i simply do not see it

Yes!!! The blondes have been suffering and I've had to rely on cc until now. And I've been waiting for a likes/dislikes feature! Also love that Deli never messes with the facial features/bodies of randomized sims 🥰🥰

it’s sad that you can’t put toys under the bunk beds because i used to have a bunk bed with an open space under it where i put my american girl dolls and their furniture 😂

I'm actually disappointed that they didn't include every skill in likes and dislikes :(
Especially since they seem to have included every radio station. Or did they leave out a few as well?
Instead of an incomplete list of skills, I wish they had used the list of activities from Get Together's group creation functionality. That would have been awesome! What do you think?

You missed the updated bit where sims can scoot across beds now! You can have a double bed against a wall and two sims can finally use it

If the hair was too dark you wouldn't see hair details, they do it so it looks like the hair is catching light too. I love the new hair colours i really would like more in the future though. If they hate music and dancing why does the sim still dance....that is weird to me, surely they should stomp off and be like no i am NOT dancing hahahah
