At 125.5 x 67 x 8.7 mm, weighing 122g, Optimus L7 combines a solid frame, slim profile and aesthetic beauty.

The L7 has a 4.3" IPS LCD display of WVGA resolution. The images and videos displayed are vivid with precise details.

On top of the screen, there are the front VGA video-call camera, the earpiece and the hidden proximity sensor. Just below the screen are the usual Android controls - the two capacitive Back and Menu keys surrounding the hardware Home button. The right side of the Optimus L7 is bare, while the left one features the volume rocker. The top of the L7 houses the 3.5mm audio jack and the machined Lock/Power button. At the bottom, reside the microphone pinhole, microUSB port and the 5MP camera lens with a single LED placed centrally. The loudspeaker grille also resides at the back, in the bottom left corner.

The music looks similar to the typical ICS version with an FM radio, and radio scan for stations, that can save up to 48 channel presets. The LG Optimus L7 reads most AVI files using DivX and XviD encoding we threw at it, as well as the usual 3GP and MP4 stuff.

There are plenty of editing options available for photos and the Send feature offers quick sharing via Email, Google+, Picasa, Memo, SmartShare or Bluetooth.

The Chipset is Qualcomm MSM7227A Snapdragon and the processor is 1 GHz Cortex-A5. The ace of the deal is the Ice Cream Sandwich OS, that gives a fluid, snag free performance. The internal storage is 4GB that is expandable up to 32GB via MicroSD.

The colour options of LG Optimus L7 are the classy Black or White. The battery is Li-Ion 1700 mAh battery rated for a stand-by time of up to 550 h and talk time of up to 6 h.
