Fire department pays tribute to firefighter who died at Trump shooting | NewsNation Prime

Firefighter Corey Comperatore has now been identified as the person who was killed during the attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump on Saturday. Comperatore, 50, was shielding his family from the bullets before he was struck, according to his sister, Dawn, Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro said at a news conference Sunday. R.I.P. Corey. My thoughts are with his family during this tragedy. Such a horrific thing to happen. He died a hero, protecting his family members. He also seemed like a great guy as a volunteer firefighter. He didn’t deserve any of this. I hope he is long remembered. I also hope people help his family during this horrible time.
