Technically, if Diavolo dies infinitely, that would have two things that sort of seem good: First, there is a death where Diavolo lives a happy and fulfilling life, and dies a good death. Next, there is a death where Diavolo could have actually won and killed Giornio, and also died a peaceful death. So let that sink in, Diavolo may be dying infinitely, but he still has actually good deaths worth dying.
