Thanks for such an informative video, I have VW Touran 1.6 TDI, 2018. As per user manual my car has so called lifetime gearbox oil but I don't agree with this idea, so I have replaced the gearbox oil at 120tkm and filled 1.7L. I asked the VW official mechanic about mechatronic oil change, he said no need to change it. After watching this great video I am in favour to change both oils after regular intervals, I will be very pleased if you could suggest the kilometre intervals for mechatronic oil, gearbox oil and engine oil. Hello, great vid! My mechanic replaced my transmission oil as 3 litres instead of 1.7 litres. He said it's bcs there is no oil pump in this model, thus it has to be oiled up until halfway point of it's volume. What do you think about it, is it wrong or do harm to my car?

Hello. I changed the gear box oil from the dq200. I measured the oil out and it was 1.4ltr. Filled back with 1.4ltr. Should I be concerned and put the extra 300milliter as I thought I needed 1.7 ltr. The car never had a gear box oil change.

I have a new car with the DQ200, it makes metallic clicking noise when shifting in city driving and also over bigger bumps only when it is warmed up, it is annoying. Is this normal for this transmission? I expected it to be quiet, I am disappointed.
