Well ive travelled from Aberdeen to Gatwick by train, and although you get to see all the wonderful scenery, its twice the price and takes about 8 hours. So the plane seems so much better all round.

Great wee trip report!

I often do easyJet to Gatwick over BA to Heathrow as the 06:15 is so quick if going to central London. The seat pitch on the BA A319/20/21 no better, they operate buy-onboard too and are generally more expensive as a means of getting from Aberdeen to London. Handy if connecting though....

The cost of your trip was fantastic. The train would have been at least double the cost and taken five times longer!

I’ve always enjoyed EasyJet, staff always been great, food not overpriced. Comfortable seating. Having done both EasyJet and BA from London to Inverness I’d actually say they better than BA

Another great video Dom! Always love flying easyJet and can never fault their lovely friendly crews. Fun fact I once flew one of their longest flights from Aqaba in Jordan all the way to Manchester with a flight time of just over 6 hours 😅 Poor crew were so tired by the end of it as they had already flown the same route inbound in reverse

That's a pretty good price. I travel between London and Edinburgh a lot and usually struggle to find air fares anywhere near that price point.

Great value too! But I think Edinburgh to Stansted is best; usually around 7-10 pounds, alongside the coach to London, it'll still come out cheaper than flying to City or Heathrow.

We've flown Easy Jet once or twice. Most recently would be London to Belfast. As you said, it was a good, typical budget experience. Decent flight and seats. Competitive prices. Would use them again. The price you paid sounded like a bargain to us. Looking forward to following you through your epic American adventure.
