I used to have one of these!! They're like little sea puppies, very smart and responsive. They'll play with you, can recognize people, and LOVE attention (at least mine did). So cute, would get a puffer again.

for future references coming from someone who has owned both freshwater and saltwater pufferfish, dont use a net to transfer them. Use a small container that fits them as its safe for you and causes less stress for the pufferfish

That puffer fish is pretty much going to eat everything in the tank. They are an extremely aggressive fish that eat everything they can bite, and they can bite through everything. Also, forcing them to puff up under any circumstances is extremely stressful for these fish and is bad for them.

I could be wrong because every puffer is so different, but if I’m being completely honest that this will probably cause hell for most of the corals and potentially fish. I just had customers last week who insisted on taking home a porcupine puffer and he ended up tearing the anemone apart and eating the clowns 😅. Puffers can be very tough to read.

Please do more research into puffer fish. Taking them out of the water with a net and letting them inflate in the air is literally one of the most dangerous things you can possibly do to them.
