Here is an update on the last 2 months of our lives.
We matched with an expecting birthmother pregnant with twins.
We told our friends and families and had a gender reveal.
It was so perfect.. until it wasn't.

My children are adopted. I went through all of this. As soon as you said twins I knew it was an adoption scammer. They are emotional scammers that get off on it and I’m SO sorry it happened to you guys. Please as soon as you connect with an expectant mother get an agency or attorney involved to get proof of pregnancy.

Unfortunately this is so common. My sister and brother in law have been on the adoption journey for years and I can’t tell you the amount of times they’ve had this happen. People can be such a disappointment and so cruel and I’m so sorry this happened to you. I really encourage you to refer any potential birth moms to your social worker to have them vetted before getting too emotionally invested. Praying for you guys ❤

As someone who was adopted my heart breaks for you. I know my parents struggled and it's so hard seeing someone go through it. Im sure you'll find the right baby for you. My sister and I were both adopted through wide horizons for children which is a non profit so you only cover legal fees. No matter what happens I know you guys will make it through to the end and eventually when things work out you're gonna be the best parents ever.

My first thought: “why are they doing all this before having the babies??” You guys should talk more to people that went through adoption process. That is not an easy or for sure process. I have friends that spent lots of money with nursery room, with the pregnant mom, fees and other shit and the birth mom changed her mind the days she gave birth.

I also want to say that before I watched these last 2 videos I had NO IDEA that adoption scams were a thing. It is incomprehensible. Im just at a loss for words. I can't be the only one who was oblivious to this disgusting thing that sick people are doing.
