Why do People Still Play Minecraft in 2019?

Everyone has a different reason. Well said. I play for the simplicity and easygoing feeling of just farming, mining, building. Also there is deep thought into everything about it from the lore with endermen to the pigmen. Someone else may play for all of the different materials and terrains available. It’s legendary. That’s why today somebody said who still plays Minecraft anymore on my bus talking about me and I said ‘480 Million’ . :)

I enjoyed minecraft because of the pvp I didn't really care about pve I mean pve was fun but pvp will always be in my heart

I use to play ALOT, im thinking of playing again but there's reasons why i stopped : 1) I use to make towns/houses/ games for my friends and I to roleplay, joke, and just simply talk and get mad at each other for killing there dogs but once they stopped coming online there was no point of making things, and just playing the game. : 2) getting into other games, its hard for me to switch around in games. Like one day i can be playing animal crossing new leaf and then i could playing something on my pc like I have to one: get out of the game to just play another one

I played this game back in the hype on xbox and a few days ago I bought it on PC so me and my friends could make a server and fool around
