Ultra Clima® V3 - Speakers: Dirk van de Kaaij and Wouter Kuiper

The Ultra-Clima® Version 3 greenhouse is the latest enhanced version of the Ultra-Clima® greenhouse. The main feature of the new design is its characteristic air-conditioning unit. Whereas the air-conditioning units in previous Ultra-Clima® greenhouses still had two radial fans, the current air-conditioning units just have one single large radial fan. This modification has enabled the size of the air-conditioning unit to be radically reduced and the Ultra-Clima® corridor has been adapted in line with this change. KUBO worked on the design for the air-conditioning unit alongside the manufacturer. The main benefits of the Ultra-Clima V3 compared with previous versions of the Ultra Clima® greenhouse are the amount of incidental light entering near to the outer wall and the reduced depth of the corridor resulting in a larger cultivation area. Another major benefit is that the Ultra Clima® V 3 is more keenly priced than its predecessors.
