That's '80's English drive-metal. If you want to do Hendrix, and no one can, you must lead with the bass strings, fiddle-in rhythm, and have lead and fill-in's falling all over the place. ..I.e., find your own style.

He’s playing it correctly. It’s not an octave up 😂 that riff is hard to play the way Warren does it.
