My bass drum sounded exactly the same as the non EQ'd so I drove down the church as soon as I heard the difference and watched the video there and made the same changes. AMAZING!!!

I love the boost around 5K. I put my mic on the inside about 3 inches from the beater, and sometimes the sound of the beater takes it to another level. Really loving your channel as I go through your videos. A lot is confirming what I know, but I have also learned a lot as well. THANKS!

Is it possible to combat the the bleed through some really surgical gating? Or is it better to treat the room you are in and then get rid of the shield with an open room? Is that really the best option?

This is not regarding drums but are you using real drums or recording with aux? If so with aux how do you make it because for me I only have few options with aux, gain, eq, and freq
