You're doing a excellent job on the build. I think the gooseneck is awesome . Just a little friendly FYI. You probably know this already... You can check squareness measuring opposite corners on the frame.

A great tip to help with the expansion and contraction get a wet wrag, shirt etc and put it around the area you’re going to weld. Water has an extremely high heat capacity so it will absorb a ton of heat and it will not expand.

A good way to get the tubes to sit flush and also secure is to clamp a flat bar or plate to the bottom of the frame tube sticking out a little bit and setting the cross tube on the plate.

I’d do bumper pull to keep the dump box functional with the trailer and have more room to haul things around the ranch with box and trailer.

Just remove the drivers glass metal support bracket from the drivers door. I’m sure it’s still attached to the tracks. You can dig out the old broken glass and urethane and use it to put on the “hopefully newly made window”.
