Hououmon is an Animal Digimon. It is a holy Digimon that possesses four wings that shine gold. It is the head of all Bird Digimon and is said to be the one that presides over Holy-species Digimon. While Magnadramon is the ultimate form of Beast Digimon, Hououmon is the ultimate form of Bird Digimon. It wears Holy Rings around its ankles, and it is understood that the power possessed by Hououmon is unfathomable.

I don’t care that it wasn’t as animated as Wargreymon and MetalGarurumon or that it was just against a volcanic eruption, this was a true sight to behold. That roar during the evolution sent a shiver down my spine and the way Hououmon lifted all the lava into the sky and lit everything under a golden light was beyond beautiful.

I've loved the Biyomon line since the original Digimon, and the fact that we're now getting a rebooted version where she's finally getting her Mega makes me have ALL THE FEELS. I know we got Houhoumon in Tri but that entire show didnt have the same feel to it as Digimon and 02 had for me. Having her here makes me immediately have nostalgia feels.

Garudamon's the only form of Biyomon with arms, hands and fingers. When she digivolve to mega level form, fingered arms became wings.

why? At least they deserved a special animation for their Mega/Ultimate Evolution... :(

thought hououmon was gonna get a digivolution sequence like metalgreymon and weregarurumon when they are levitating to their Crests before going mega. But this was beautifully done and just fine

She hasn't used he attack "Starlight explosion" and Holyangemon also hasn't used his "Heavens gate" yet

Well this episode (for me at least) just screams of TaiXSora and AgumonXBiyomon not gonna lie. Plus the animation quality behind this was Phenomenal

Now we can finally put to rest all those people saying the megas wil lget good evolutions. I was saying back at the champion episodes that only two digimon were getting special treatment now. Everyone said I was wrong but now we know. Episode was rather meh but people are moved by simple things so its ok.

I don't give a damn how old my family thinks I have to be to give up Digimon. I waited nigh 20yrs for the others to mega digivolve. What? I am supposed to ignore it when they do? Piss off. I am here for it as much as ever.

This is a shame, Hououmon is the strongest Ultimates among the Chosen Digimons(except for Omegamon, GodDramon/Seraphimon and HolyDramon/Ophanimon) and she only stops a vulcan? Seriously, Toei? She deserved better...
