Basically Germany has diverse and good beer but Austria, the Netherlands, Poland and the Czech Republic are also important in the competition for the best beer. But before people get upset here, Great Britain is brewing something there too, but that's ale and not beer and I think a travel agency should offer this Europe trip through the different beer cultures, even if it would probably take three weeks

I am from Hamburg and we have something called Franzbrötchen. It's a kind of mixture between a cinnamon roll and a croissant and it tastes delicious.

I come from Hessen, and here we have the äbbelwoi, wich is Apfelwein, or apple wine in english. It tastes like a way less sweet and a bit sour apple juice if you get a good one. A good amount of the stuff you can get though is way to sour, which makes it taste a bit like puke, so you really need someone who knows the wines, and who can get you a good one. Also a big mistake many people make is drinking it pure. While you can do that, you should put some sparkling water into the wine, about 4 parts of wine and 1 part of water. It counters out the sourness, and enhalces the flavour.

Applewine (EebbelwoiI in the Frankfurt Region, but not too far from here the Wine Region of Rheingau begins, which is famous for Riesling. Beer is not a big thing in this region, but there are some nice smaller breweries here too, but certainly not comparable to Franconia or Bavaria.

I'm from Halle, the City in the Saale-valley is famous for the institution of the Halloren or in fully length die Salzwirker-Brüderschaft im Thale zu Halle and Händel. We have salt and chocolate, the famous Halloren-Kugeln. We have a rich and hearty cuisine. But in my view the most unique difference in comparision with other German regions is the regiolect.

I'm from the "Emsland", and this part of Germany really is known for its drinking culture. Even for many other germans that come to visit, our amount of alcohol consumtion is far over the top. This might not be something to be extremely proud of but it is at least something😅
