What if I wanted to make layer 4 (dashed lines) to be a countdown for say 3 minutes to where it disappears as time countdowns to 0? Use a mask?

quicktime its not included on AE, you need to separately install it, and quicktime lets you save transparent vids as an .mov, which can only be seen in softwares like AE, PR, and most editing softwares
