Thanks for this video, Gary. Always great content. And that Deep Dark Green ink look really cool. Question, I like the way the Cult Pen looks (better than the Kaweco) but does that flared metal piece on the section make holding the pen uncomfortable?

Thanks for the video. I have Kaweco nibs in several sizes. I really enjoy the Broad and Double Broad, although to be honest I see no real difference between them. For use in smaller journals and notebooks, my go to nib is medium, and I even got one in fine that writes quite well. I can't leave this comment here without adding that most of the Kaweco nibs I've received needed some amateur tweaking for better flow. Occasionally I get one that's good out of the box, but I find them very inconsistent. I really enjoy them after I work on them a bit.

Two comments: 1) I don’t buy Kaweco because they trademarked Moonman just to interfere with the Chinese company now known as Majohn. 2) I really should use fine nibs given the size of my writing, but i prefer glassy smoothness over any other fountain pen characteristic, so I use mediums.

Thank you, Garry. The review is very informative. I do not own a Kaweco pen. I have been considering the Original that has been just released.

As far as nib line widths, I have not veered to the wider lines, usually EF, F or M for me. What is more interesting to me is line variation.

I have a Pilot with a Soft Fine nib. It provides the line variation I look for. That does not mean I do not use other nibs. I have considered stub nibs but hesitant. Am I being overly cautious?

G'day Gary, great channel mate, I appreciate the fact you cover pens from all price points, Gary I assume you're from Australia like myself, saying Gday from "Lake Macquarie" mate keep it up, & stay safe.

I carry my Kaweco Sport in my shirt pocket and a small note pad all day every day. It currently has a medium nib. Is the white colored sport larger in diameter than the green one on is it just optics of the colors. Enjoy your videos.

I typically use fine and medium...I do have broad nibs too and they are nice....not a fan of stubs
