I bought #3 33593 on the back of watching this video, purely because I wanted a battery train with enough power to go up the hills that my IKEA electric train could not. I was disappointed to discover that this train could not go up them either without any load at all! The hills are not Brio, but they are not noticeably different in terms of steepness or grip. I suppose my only option is to buy new hills

Does the steam train have that same functionality as the “mighty action locomotive” where you can turn the motor off so that it can be pushed? My LO still loves to push the trains and I don’t want to harm the motor.
