I just started to buy a few things from Brio for my kids for this Christmas. I had a friend growing up that had Brio but we couldn’t afford it… I really like some of the newer trains they have!
I’m going to try and steer clear of anything plastic or electronic. I just like the wooden stuff.
I purchased one of the classic deluxe sets for my youngest, the Speedy Bullet plus track expansion for my oldest, and the Japanese exclusive train for my daughter.
I also plan to buy some vintage pieces as well. I hope to find a good condition Santa Fe sometime.

These look great, especially the new three new starter sets and turbo train set, but I’m wondering if for Christmas I should get the Brio Deluxe Railway Set or the newer starter sets?

A little disappointed that there's no actual NEW trains. Shinkansen is the only exception, and it's a recolor.
