Thank you coach Mario. My chest has been struggling forever. When I started going to the gym about a year ago, my max bench press was 45 for about 10, and I weighed near 175 pounds and was 6'1"-6'2" with long arms (doesn't help). I was doing an upper lower split so I still had time to train basketball. I put my chest movements in the front and middle of my workouts, thinking that would help. It didn't. Flashforward to about 3 months ago, I still was only benching 115 for 3 reps at 195 lbs and 6'3". I added more sets in between, changed the reps many times, and changed the exercises often. None of it helped. I've been at that bench for the last three months (I have basketball so I can't really go because I walk to the gym and it's about 4 miles total walking) but my season ends in two weeks so when I get back in the gym I will definitely try this and report back to you with results. Just one question, what split should I do then? Like I said, I've done upper lower and I've done an ul ppl and none of it helped and I don't know any splits that would allow me to train my chest (or any body part in general) three times a week

Another option is to move it to an earlier part of your workout if you are doing it later, so you have less overall fatigue
