SNL: Watch Billie Eilish BREAK in Multiple Sketches

Billie Eilish couldn’t help but laugh throughout multiple sketches during her ‘Saturday Night Live’ hosting debut. In the ‘Hotel Ads’ commercial parody, cast member Kate McKinnon watches on as the GRAMMY winner struggles not to break. Eilish also made the night a family affair, with both her parents and brother, Finneas O’Connell, popping up during the night. Plus, ‘SNL’ favorite Miley Cyrus stopped by for a funny cameo!

C'mon, who could blame her?... Some of those moments were just hysterical!... Billie did a great job as host. Even the pauses to hold her laugh had an appropriate timing, she didn't affect any of the sketches. The whole episode was very inspired and funny.

A perfect snl hosting performance isn’t staying in character in every scene and not missing a line. A perfect snl performance is making the audience laugh. It’s a comedy show. That’s the point and while she really excelled in the acting and singing parts, her cracking up made the night truly perfect. The best skits are always when the actors can’t keep it together but manage to make it through. Billie’s hosting episode is one of my favorites in a long time. She really did a phenomenal job for a novice actor and the Santa skit was incredible. I loved hearing her singing in a different way than she’s used to and she made it funny! One of the best hosts in a while.

I havent watched SNL in ages but kept hearing about Billie breaking character and it being funny so pulled the episode up. I had a theory and wanted to see it in whole rather than all the clips being talked about. The show was funny and she did a great job but one thing stood out tome. Most people still do not realize that Billie has tourettes. It has only been recently that she came out to speak publicly about it. Pretty sure most of those giggles and twiches were not "breaking character" but actually her tourettes flaring up (probably from exhaustion and stress from the live show). I also noticed the great support from the rest of the cast to help distract the viewers while keeping the skits flowing normally. Billie did an amazing job, is such an inspiration and a great example of professionalism under stressful circumstances.
