I'm glad the new system is working for you. I love how you're using the free space on the right side. I like the idea of family meetings, where the focus is on the each kid and not running around getting a talk in while en route to the next activity.

My planner is going pretty well so far, I swapped styles pretty significantly this year but I'm enjoying setting up new systems. 🙂

We do something like that with our kids but at their ages its a family meeting. It's been so helpful and the kids look forward to it as a place of encouragement and where they can discuss issues.😊 Hearing you talk about yours makes me think of how having them individually as they get older could be very beneficial. I think its wonderful that you have meetings with your kids. I wish my mother did this with me when i was a kid. I might know her better today and viceversa. Thanks for sharing how you use your planner i love seeing these kinds of videos to get ideas.

I always enjoy spending time with you, and I'm trying to get back in to my planning and journalling habit again this year and you are always so inspiring. I love that you have meetings with your kids, life can be so fraught and busy sometimes so making sure you have time scheduled in to check in with them sounds great to me

I wish every parent scheduled chats with their kids. I think that is fantastic. We tried to have kids and could not but whenever I have my niece or nephew I try and check in with them.

Loving your flip. I use my Weeks planner very similar in the months and weeks. I use a Mega Weeks and bullet journal in the back. I use the right side of the week for top priority to dos and tracking orders and bills due. In the back I have collections for bills and chores, then the bujo. In a weeks blank notebook I keep collections that move to different years. (Medical info, etc.) I use the pencil board behind my current week on the right side, and use an Oliclip magnet to hold the current week and a few weeks forward so the pencil board stays (mostly) put and it naturally opens to the correct page. I love your clear one and think I’ll do this next time I get something suitable. I use digital to do lists also for things further out at an unknown time. Review is key in our systems and can be the most difficult to keep up with. Thank you so much for sharing! 🤘🏼😸🧡

I use the weeks but also use a small notebook when I'm out and about and then transfer all the information over. As much as I love carrying my weeks, whipping it out whilst shopping is super awkward, I love to make a note of bargains that I see when I'm shopping and having a small notebook is so handy.

my #1 tip is to use sticky notes they come in white 3x3 and they also come in 2x1.5, and 2inches x 5 cm and they come in all the colors super cute and easy to move around your journal :) hope that helps take care <3 mmd

Your planning system seems to be working well. Good choice! My Jibun Techo for Weekly and my Day Free Cousin for Daily both seem to be working ok. I'm more struggling with my journals. I have this thing about not wanting to write things on nice paper (like into a Stalogy notebook) if I'm not sure I want to have it on record forever, like when I'm processing emotions, or just trying to figure something out. Maybe I should just just go back to a notebook from Walmart! :)
