I just want a laser that can do more intricate cuts with paper (than I can get with a Cricut/Silhouette/Scan N Cut, etc.). The size and profile of this one looks very promising! I was considering the M1 X-tool but now I'm really glad I didn't pull the trigger on that one just yet. Thanks, Sean & Ken! So exciting! Oh, man. SUPER exciting!!!

This might be the machine for me to venture into laser cutting. This is much more reasonable for a hobbyist like myself. Plus my hubby can incorporate it into his wood crafting.

Diode lasers are everywhere for extremely cheap. Glowforge is really gonna have to bring it to make this worthwhile.

if my space was bigger I would be the first in line to buy it. It's expensive, yes, but the potential is enormous. AND unlike Cricut, they allow any brand material, any DSP brand etc.. I really don't like Cricut, anything they sell as "inovative stuff" we find it elsewhere for a cheaper price, same or better quality. Thanks guys for showing us this new machine. Now we have to wait for it to be available in Europe.

Yeah but I would still go with the x 1 tool because I mean glowforge is a really good brand but for that price the X1 is still better
