If the STI badge on the shifter bezel is engraved into the metal like it looks on camera, you can melt crayon into it to color it. It is easy to do and can be removed in seconds. You can also do paint but it is much harder to do. The wax from the crayon will fill the depression and the excess can just be wiped off with a cloth.

That is so important, my old boss used to say "Check the basics first, keep it simple, never assume anything, check it out- observe. I also am a big advocate of using a chalkboard on rebuilds, this really helps to list everything down and cross off things too.

I read on a Subaru forum that you can count the flashes on the DCCD light to reveal the trouble code 👇
"It's a code, long blinks are 1.2 sec. (signifies incriments of 10) and short ones are .2 sec (signifies incriments of 1)
ex. long, long, short, short, short would be code 23"

i have a solution for the thing that goes around the gearstick that was silver with the STI logo. You can paint it in base black, and get your tint shop or wrap shop to print out another STI logo stick it on to the finisher and spray clear coat on it so it looks like factoy finish.

Dude, you need to get your hands on some SEM trim black interior paint. IMO It's the best interior paint there is. It dry to the touch in it seems like seconds and it looks amazing.

So glad when you mod cars you deal with the stupid dash lights that shouldn't be lit!! Can't even count all the wrx vids i've seen where folks get new rims and tires without tire pressure sensors putting that stupid yellow light on their dash. Ty for caring. 👏👏👏👍

Check the fuses under your hood one of them is for your horn and cruise control if it’s burnt out it will not work happened on my car hopefully that’s your easy fix 🤙🏻

Could try hand painting the Sti logo back on. I dunno how that would turn out but I think a red Sti logo with the semi gloss black would would dope

Other camera was fine as it's not camera it's all about lighting, audio and exposing right. And color grading. Also use flasecolor to nail the right exposer. I enjoy watching you build some sweet machines

If that shifter trim ring is metal (looked metal anyway) you should powdercoat it blue to match the interior accents. It's also hilarious Bobbi can tell you're hungry right off the bat lol.

So on small stuff like that shifter bracket I was thinking you maybe could have colored the STI logo with dry erase markers then spray and see if the logo stays red.
