Why do people like to pick on Hades? He's one of the most honorable of the Greek gods and actually treats his wife with respect. Plus Cerberus in ancient greek roughly translate to spotted. So he named his pet dog Spot!

I love the way Sisyphus is portrayed in this game; I hope we get a sequel where we play as him through a boulder-rolling-rogue-like.

Found out that the mc’s name is Zagreus, god of rebirth, and he’s the son of Hades and Persephone (Zeus and Persephone in some renditions). Oh man, will we get to see Persephone in this game too????
Maybe she’s on the surface, taking care of spring, and that’s part of why Zagreus wants to go to the surface so badly.

That opening animation reminds me a lot of Spencer Wan's work. Holy crap! That might have sold me on this game.
Edit: My instincts were right--Spencer Wan *did* have a hand in making this.

You know, when I first saw this trailer, I didn't think much of it. Not that I dislike Supergiant Games, but I did not expect this one in particular to blow up the way it did. Fantastic game and well-deserving of the hype it got!

Ok im someone who has played the beta on pc and just let me say this game is worth every penny. The story is compeling, characters react to your progress, the diolog is funny and charming. And the combat is fun and ballenced with 6 different weapons to choose from each requireing a vastly different playstile. This is simply a game you can play for hours and not get tired of it for how fun it is.
