Historical Perspective - VADM Peter Jones AO DSC

Vice Admiral Peter Jones AO DSC RAN (Ret’d) is both the President of the Australian Naval Institute and an Adjunct Professor at the University of NSW (Canberra). During his 40 year
naval career he commanded HMAS Melbourne, the multinational Maritime Interception Force during the Iraq War and the Capability Development Group. He is author of Australia’s Argonauts and producer of UNSW’s Australian Naval History podcast series.
