Hosa Mono Y-Splitter - Split 1 Output Into 2 Inputs!

Hello and welcome to Show Me Cables. Today we’ll be taking a look at 1/4 cables.

This is the Hosa 1/4 inch Mono Y splitter.

The 1/4 connection looks similar to the other widely used 3.5mm connector or 1/8 inch connection, but is more often found on professional equipment more than home use.

Just remember 1/4 inch is the larger connector, 3.5mm is the smaller connector.

We offer the cables in both 3 FT and 5 FT lengths

1/4 cables are commonly used in professional headphones, sound mixers, and a variety of music equipment.

The cables are made using nickel plated connectors, 22 gauge twisted pairs, and maximum shielding to provide superior audio fidelity.

The cable is used to duplicate a single mono output and allow you to connect to two mono inputs.

Whether you just need a short cable to plug in your headphones or if you need to wire an entire event, Show Me Cables has you covered.

If you still have any questions, you can give our customer service department a call at 888-519-9505

For all of your cable and connector needs, choose Show Me Cables.

On the back of my oberheim teo-5 I have 2 unbalanced outputs. Will this work if I want to plug it into my audio mixer? Taking up one channel instead of 2.

I have a Problem, my thought was to make a DIY Audiocable going from a Balanced TRS Output and Split Output 1 and 2 into two seperate Female (Y) TRS Jack Connections each. I want to Connect 2 Pair of Monitors, but i have only one Balanced Output. Hope this makes sense... Thx

I have a simmilar cable, an aux 3.5 mm to 2 male MIDI inputs for microphones and I only have 1 mic. When I plug it all in it works but is only hears in either the left or the right headphone. Is there a way I can turn off or "copy" and split the one output into both? Thanks in advance

Does this work on a guitar? Like, say I wanted to run a guitar into a pedalboard, then into two amps?
