U wanna know who else "earned the right to be at a power 5 school" ... the recruits who believed what he was selling. I just wish he didn't frame his reason being there the way he did. Now he is just part of the talent drain.

It’s a tough one. Part of me thinks Deion is kind of a punk for making this decision. He recruited a punch of guys to an HBCU in a non-power five by telling kids they don’t need to be in a power-5 conference. And gained W/L success by doing so. Then he cashes in on those kids, who could’ve been playing power-5, by bolting to the first power-5 school who offered him.

Dion should stay at JSU and keep bringing black athletes back to HBCU and stop giving money to all these universities that didn't want us on their campus until they realized we were important to their sport programs and etc

I will never get how people like rg3 and deion think that by being successful at a hbcu equates to deserving a job at a white school thstgoes directly at the message deion started when he got to jsu bashing white schools and saying we can build in our own without running to white schools how about we celebrate and keep building to the point where we get to that level like he said!! this is what other coaches in the swac were saying he using hbcus to get ahead!!
