Drug Bust in Italy Nets 4.3 Tons of Cocaine: Cops

It’s one of the largest drug busts to ever happen in Italy and officials say law enforcement has dealt a major blow to a Colombian drug organization. After a year-long investigation, Italian Finance Police and anti-mafia units seized nearly four-and-a-half tons of cocaine with a street value of more than 260 million euros in the city of Trieste. Officials say the ring operated in Italy, Croatia, Slovenia, Bulgaria, the Netherlands and Colombia. Inside Edition Digital’s Mara Montalbano has more.
