DIY 8mm Telecine Progress

This is the beginning of my DIY 8mm telecine. Here a new DC motor has been fitted to a Bell & Howell Regent Design 122 Model L projector. The motor is controlled by a Parallax Propeller microcontroller and is shown running open loop in this video. Closed loop feedback will be implemented next so the film is advanced exactly one frame at a time.
