Demidov at 5 shows what a difference having a russian scout like Bobrov can make all the difference ! He really might be the steal of the draft...also Hage is a really fun project ! Love our first round !!!

Brandsegg-Nygard is the first Norwegian player to be selected in the 1st round

before the draft, parekhs brother, who is in the bchl got invited to calgary’s summer camp. had a feeling calgary would draft parekh if he was on the board at 9 😭

As a jackets fan I would’ve preferred demidov personally but I’m happy with lindstrom. Overall not too happy today though had to say goodbye to one of my favourite cbj players

Cole Eiserman is a massive steal for the Islanders. I had him in my top 5 I believe at hes peak he is a solid 40 50 and even 60 goalscorer. I get he has big defensive problems but that all can come with time.

as a Habs fan, im super excited. as a Sens fan, im cautiously optimistic and truthfully a bit scared. as a Canucks fan, i feel nothing.

As a caps fan I kinda expected us to take defense in the first round but I think the pick we got will grow on me

Ngl I was a bit surprised with the Greentree pick, but I guess with Byfield and Laferriere being the only young forwards we have that have so far gotten ample ice time plus showed flashes, alongside Turcotte not developing as fast as the team would have hoped, I'm not mad at this pick. I would have gone for someone like Michael Hage had we kept 21st, but I like the haul we got.

As a Flames fan, I’m stoked about both picks. I think the Flames added a lot of skill and hopefully speed up the retool.
