The first definition of the word even is more, to emphasise something. For example, That girl is even more beautiful than her sister. We use it in comparative, or we just use this word to emphasise something. The second meaning of the word even is flat, smooth. For example, My skin is always so smooth, but tomorrow I have an allergic so my skin right now doesn’t feel even, doesn’t flat. We can use the word even when talking about road. If the road is in good condition for driving, then the road is very even, but if the road is in bad condition then that road is not even. The road is not even safe.
