My dad had the 4dr version growing up in the late 80s and it was very cozy, elegant, with the vinyl roof, body by fisher. Ppl stole the hubcap back in the day

Another interesting video! It is always interesting things you find. That is a 1980 Oldsmobile Ninety Eight as you said. They did bring the grille back and use it on the 1985 Oldsmobile Eighty Eight. It had a rocket emblem when they brought it back. They also did that sort of thing frequently. The 1982 Oldsmobile Ninety Eight grille was used on the 1988-1990 Oldsmobile Custom Cruiser. The back up lights from the 1980-1984 Oldsmobile Ninety Eight were used on the 1985 Oldsmobile Eighty Eight. The seats from the 1982-1984 Ninety Eight Regency Brougham were used on the 1985 Oldsmobile Eighty Eight Royale Brougham LS. They did it in the 1990's with the Regency. When the Ninety Eight was discontinued in 1996, They took the grille, wheels, seats, and trim and used then on the Eighty Eight on a model called "Regency". It ran from 1997-1998. Then they took the seats and used on the 50th Anniversary Eighty Eight in 1999.
