State Senate Republicans have released a 98-page comprehensive elections bill. Opponents say it's going to make it harder to vote.

"First of all, this bill came out of nowhere. This is a 98-page elections bill that was filed with 24-hour notice to be heard at first committee,” said Rep. Anna Eskamani, (D)-Orlando.

Eskamani is talking about Senate Bill 7050, a change in election laws that Tallahassee lawmakers are considering. She says it would completely disrupt the election process.

"It attempts to erode ‘Souls to the Polls, ’ which is an activity which is often utilized by the African American community going to vote after church service on the Sunday before Election Day. It goes after third-party voter registration organizations, making it more burdensome to conduct voter registration,” Eskamani said.

The bill would end the early voting period three days before election day.
