Honestly can’t explain how good Derrick carter is. I m so glad i got to see him live so many times in the early 2000s. 20yrs later and still just as fascinated. Majority of todays DJs just bore the life out of me. Early 2000s nearly everyone I knew who had 1210s were way better than a lot today. Real talent

I got this mix from a burned CD my friend had back in the day. I’ve listened to this one many times. Classic DC awesomeness!

Sounds better than some of his new stuff
Still, Derrick is king in my book

For anyone wondering why the track list is incorrect. I read a post on a forum (can’t find it now) that the recording of the incorrect track-list was lost in the post, so Carter had to send another mix but Radio 1/BBC didn’t update the track list. The post continued to say that, the recording we hear, is a live recording from a gig Carter played.

I'm pretty sure of this but...I don't think the tracklist posted is the right one for this mix. I'm hearing tracks I know for a fact are not listed on this tracklist posted.

If I'm wrong I apologize but unless I'm going crazy, I think it's the wrong one all together. I've been into house music for almost 30 years and worked as a house music buyer at a pretty well known record store during this exact time period so I know these tracks.
