When you update Books, in the first set available books you are already subtracting 1 (one) book from the current transaction, in the next line why are you using available copies - 1 again? hasn't Available copies been updated already in the line before?

There is a lot of talk about avoiding nvarchar in the database, in the examples did you create it with nvarchar for any specific reason or just because it is just an example?
