Candela P-12 in waves | Nynäshamn winter excursion

Watch this video of the P-12 ‘Nova’ validating its performance in waves outside Nynäshamn, Sweden. The test was conducted on a day with 14 m/s gusts and easterly swells up to 2 meters high, sending our accompanying photo RIB flying as it tried to keep up with the Candela P-12.

Cool - how abrupt is it when foiling into an occasional large wave? Is that enough to bring the boat off the foil?

Yes, a cat hull for foiling in waves for stability is ideal. Disclaimer restored a cat hull into a solar-electric or hybrid, and other vessels over the years.

So are you ready?
Put together a how to quit smoking in the title of the subject.
You should promote quitting smoking in the next three days. Here is how. Don"t wait just do it.
1. Take an unopened package of cigarettes and put them in your pocket.
2. Plan for tuesday night, pancake tuesday as the quit night for smoking.
3. At midnight throw away your package of open cigarettes leaving the full unopened package in your pocket.
4. When you crave for a cigarette you pull the package out of your pocket and look at it, do not open the plastic because you are quitting.
5. Put those unopened Cigarettes back in your pocket and realize that you resisted.
By having a cigarette handy there is no reason to ask anyone for a cigarette. Asking is called bumming. Asking leads to lighting. Having is not needing. Good luck on pancake tuesday, it comes every year and is an easy to remember anniversary.

I saw no waves, and there is no such thing as "big chop". Chop is small. Swell is bigger. False title. I wish I had that time back, and btw, the boat looks lame and hurts wildlife.
