2024 Sea Doo GTR X 300 RS Review and Top Speed Test

Meet one of the craziest supercharged Jet Skis to be launched in years.

The 2024 Sea-Doo GTR-X 300 has one of the most powerful engines ever fitted to a mid-size ski.

With this new model Sea-Doo has bridged the gap between the GTR 230 – the entry point into its supercharged range – and the flagship RXP-X 325.

In this video we will go through Australian and US pricing, all the key features, tell you what it’s like to ride – and do acceleration and top speed tests using precision VBox timing equipment.

We tested the 2024 Sea-Doo GTR-X 300 RS in a range of conditions in Sydney Australia over two weekends in early 2024.

The demonstrator model was supplied courtesy of Lake And Valley Powersports on the Central Coast just north of Sydney, one of Australia’s largest Sea-Doo dealers.

I just bought a gtr 230 for my 1st aki.Wow the power and acceleration is insane Couldnt imagine 300hp on the same platform

Thanks for all the performance data, exactly what I want to see. Big fan of the GTR-X. The TX is too big and the PX is a little more closed course racer than I’d like. Seems this hull has quite a bit of drag though as top speeds seem to be under 70mph even with SCOM’s. Guess if I want an 80+mph ski it’ll have to be one of the 325 offerings.

I have one it does not like the rough water as much as my rxtx 300 but it is a blast to ride and throw around or literally jump right out the water and the big plus.... no bow hunting!!

If you don't use launch control and just put the trim all the way down and slowly raise it as you speed up you will out perform the launch control 100% of the time and this works for every ski no matter the brand

Is it worth adding a SCOM to? My GTX Limited goes 75 with just a SCOM. Or will the hull hold it back?
