How To Grow Chia Microgreens - 3 Ways!

This is a somewhat guide to growing microgreens in which I also compare 3 ways to grow them. The fact that the greens grown in soil were much bigger is because the soil has nutrients in it compared to the water (that might have some trace amounts of calcium)

The ikea tray on the left is just great for growing microgreens. It's sad that they stopped selling them and the hydroponic kits here in germany. Anyways, great video again, thanks for sharing.

Put out Chia seeds for the birds and a bunch of them blew into my tomato plants and they’re sprouting I’m definitely gonna eat them once I get a little bigger! They seem effortless

How to prevent mold with any microgreens? Hydrogen peroxide doesnt seem to work either. I use soil, a fan, and dehumidifier. I always cover my seeds and have weight on them to help the root go down.thats where the mold problem happens. I havent tried not covering the seedsbfor better air flow. But it seems like if you dont cover the seeds they will dry out and not grow? Also the roots might not grow downward?

The seeds that i put on tissue paper had an odor i cant describe a day after. Same goes to the seeds i soaked in a jar. Is that normal?

i heard cinnamon powder can prevent mold

I am using Walmart great value chia seeds to sprout in a terracotta dish. There is a proposition 95 warning on them. Is that why they don’t sprout?
I soak the seeds 8 hours snd mist daily. Yet There is no response.
